Power Play Options

The Power Play option costs an additional $1 per play and can multiply non-jackpot (lower-tier) prizes by 2,3,4 or 5 times.

The Power Play number will be drawn after the Powerball number is drawn.

The odds of each of the Power Play numbers (x2, x3, x4 and x5) coming up is 1:4.

How To Play

  1. Pick five (5) numbers out of the field of fifty-nine (59) numbers.
  2. Pick one (1) number, (your POWERBALL® Number), out of the field of thirty-nine (39) numbers.
  3. Multiply your non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4 or 5 with the Power Play® option. To play Power Play® mark the box Yes. Power Play® wagers must be equal to the POWERBALL® wager on bet slip. Selecting Power Play® doubles the price of your ticket.
  4. You may play the same numbers for more than one drawing. Mark the appropriate box for number of consecutive draws.
  5. Give the completed betting slip to an ON-LINE Lottery Sales Agent.
  6. The Sales Agent will give you a separate ticket as your receipt. IMPORTANT: CHECK YOUR TICKET! BE SURE IT REPRESENTS THE NUMBERS AND DRAWINGS THAT YOU WANTED TO PLAY, AS IT IS YOUR ONLY PROOF OF PLAYING THESE NUMBERS.
  7. The Lottery suggests, for your own protection, that you sign the back of your ticket to identify ownership. NOTE: Hand mark only with blue ink or pencil.

* In some cases these prizes will be paid on a pari-mutuel basis and will be lower than these published prize levels. See Official game rules. For more information about Powerball see the Powerball site at www.powerball.com
