THE POWERPLAY OPTION
The Power Play option costs an additional $1 per play and
can multiply non-jackpot (lower-tier) prizes by 2,3,4 or 5 times.
The Power Play number will be drawn before the Powerball number is drawn.
The odds of each of the Power Play numbers (x2, x3, x4 and x5) coming up is 1:4.

MATCH 5 BONUS PRIZE
Each time the Powerball jackpot reaches a new record level, the jackpot amount increase for the next drawing (until the jackpot is won) may be limited. Prize money collected in excess of the advertised jackpot amounts will be placed into a bonus prize pool until there is a jackpot winner. Once the jackpot is won this bonus prize pool will be divided equally among all the Match 5 winners for that draw. (A Non-Powerplay prize during a Match 5 Bonus win is $200,000 plus the share of the Match 5 Bonus prize. A Powerplay prize is $1,000,000 plus the share of the Match 5 Bonus prize.)
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Jackpot winners have 60 days after the draw date to select a payment option. Annuity Option: Winners can choose to be paid in 30 graduated annuity payments made over 29 years. Cash Option: Winners can choose a one time cash payment which will be approximately the cost of the annuity divided by the number of winning tickets.
If a winner fails to claim the jackpot and select a payment option within 60 days, the prize will be automatically paid as an annuity.
